MixItUp lets you embed a simple flash gallery into your Joomla 1.5 website. The displayed images can come from your own server or another server. MixItUp provides several configuration options that allow you to vary the way the images are presented.

MixItUp is a Joomla module that automates the loading of a Flash media player. The player reads an XML Playlist and displays the images defined in the playlist. One can provide the URL to the playlist, for example a playlist from Flickr, or MixItUp can generate the playlist automatically if the image files are located on the Joomla server.

Features

The module supports a number of parameters that you can use to control how images are displayed. Most of these parameters are optional, meaning that either a default value will be used or that they are features that can be disabled.

• Read a playlist from the Joomla server or an external playlist in Atom or RSS formats;
• Playlists from the server are autogenerated based on customizable filename filters;
• Navigation bar;
• Resize images on the client;
• Supports various transition effects;
• Supports templates that allow for specific customizations.

System Requirements

MixItUp is a native Joomla 1.5 module and will work with this system.  It will not work with the previous Joomla 1.0 system.
